Frequently Asked Questions

Can Physiotherapy help me?

Yes, physiotherapy can help you recover faster, rather than just ignoring the symptoms and hoping the problem will “come right“ on it’s own.  Physiotherapists are qualified therapists who have a wide range of treatment options they can use to help you get back to normal activity sooner.  Physiotherapy is not just about massage, but involves a number of treatment options which will be tailored to meet your specific needs.

How long will my treatments take?

The initial consultation will take approximately 40 minutes. Followup consultations will take between 20 – 30 mins.

What do I need to bring?

Bring any paperwork you may have already been given by your doctor, specialist or the hospital, including copies of any xray reports you may have. You may also bring a support person with you to any of your appointments.

What do I wear?

Wear something comfortable if possible, as this will make it easier to treat your condition. Or bring shorts/clothing to change into if necessary (we do have a supply of gowns, or shorts to borrow, should you need them).

Do I need to pay each time?

Yes, payment of surcharge fees (or private fees – if not ACC) is required at the end of each treatment.  We accept eftpos and cash payment, we are unable to accept credit card payments.
