Karl enrolled at the School of Physiotherapy in Dunedin in 1986. After gaining experience in various physiotherapy settings he opened the Shirley – St Albans Physiotherapy clinic in 1995. Karls areas of interest and speciality have included the treatment of spinal disorders, sports injury rehabilitation and post surgical orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Karl gained a post graduate diploma in Manipulation and Manual Therapy in 1997 and became a credentialed McKenzie therapist in 2008. Karl has been involved with the Canterbury Rugby team as a physiotherapist in the past and is currently involved with the West Coast NPC Rugby team, Shirley Rugby Club and Western Soccer Club. Karl is married and has two school aged children.
Alicia Brady – Physiotherapist
Alicia joined our team in 2016. Alicia graduated in Dublin in 2015 with a B Sc in Physiotherapy.
Julie has worked part-time at the clinic over the last 16 years and enjoys meeting new people in her role as practice Manager. Originally from Dunedin, Julie graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Accounting) from Otago University and in 1990 moved to Christchurch to further her career. Julie worked in a variety of company settings over the next 7 years as an Accountant, before getting married and starting a family in the late 90’s. Julies interests include listening to music, reading, art, fashion, and shopping. When she is not at work she is kept pretty busy driving her two school aged children to after school activities!
